Animals and Behavior - Animals and Behavior
In this 4 week class, participants will learn about animal behaviors, adaptations, and interactions. They will investigate bird beaks, predator and prey relationships, animal tracks, food chains, and food webs. Children will make and take home a food chain model, their own plaster hand print, and a mythical beast that they will create. Ukulele Magic members play songs they like, often choosing new songs and bringing new music to share. They play a variety of music that ranges from a beginner to a moderate level. New beginner members will need to learn basic chords in order to participate successfully. Linocut Printmaking Workshop - Linocut Printmaking Workshop
In this class students will be introduced to the printmaking process of Linocut. The class will cover the techniques in carving linoleum, composition, ink mixing, and printing. At your own pace, participants will learn how to create a design and carve it in linoleum using carving tools. You will learn how to ink and print their linoleum blocks by hand. In a relaxed and welcoming environment, participants will create many beautiful prints of their own as well as collaborate with others. This class is suitable for beginners and can be adjusted for all levels of experience.
