During this week long program, children will learn about the history and stories associated with pirates and mermaids. Participants will learn about animals such as the manatees which were often mistaken for mermaids, the myths and truths about ocean exploring and so much more through stories, art and hand-on exploration.

Instructor, KC Bloom is the coordinator of the Recreation Management concentration and a faculty member at Salem State University.  KC has taught numerous nature related courses, worked in state parks and spends as much time in the woods or on the ocean as possible with  her family.

Children must turn 4 years old prior to the start of the program.

Children should bring a snack, water bottle, bagged lunch each day.

Ages: 4-7
Date: Monday - Wednesday, June 10th -12th and Friday, June 14th
Time: 9:00am -2:00pm
Location: Winter Island Function Hall
Cost: $210.00, additional siblings are $170.00
