Adult Cardio/Fitness Tennis for Emerging Intermediates
This is a program for players that can hit medium-paced shots but are not consistent at hitting all strokes, making directional shots and need improvement in the depth, variety and power of shots.
Cardio/Fitness Tennis combines hitting and conditioning and may incorporate rotations using hand weights, agility ladder drills, core and lower body exercises. If you are looking for a way to boost your heart health, improve your balance and coordination, burn calories, work every muscle in your body, and have fun while doing it, then consider Fitness Tennis.
This clinic will be led by Suzanne Lazzaro who is a USPTA certified teaching professional, the Head Coach at the Academy at Penguin Hall in Wenham and the Summer Youth Program Director at Northshore Tennis in Salem. Suzanne coached to inspire the love of tennis knowing that it helps to improve physical, mental and social health and is accessible to everyone.
Participants need to have their own racket and wear sneakers on the court.
