Join Don McCasland from Blue Hill Observatory Science Center for Salem Kite Day! This is a fun family event for all. Don will teach an educational kite making workshop that will focus on math, history, physics and fun kite stories. 1 kite kit will be provided per family. After your kite is created, join Don in flying your kite for all to see in Forest River Park.
Date and Time: Saturday, November 12th from 10:00am-12:00pm
Rain date will be Sunday, November 13th
Location: Forest River Park Education Room, 32 Clifton Ave, Salem.
The Education Room is located off of the Pool House.
Age: Family Event- At least 1 parent/guardian must be present for the duration of the event.
Cost: $20.00 per family *This program is full. Wait list only.
