Summer Playground Program

We are excited to offer a FREE, 3 hour Summer Playground program that will run Monday - Thursday from 9:00am -12:00pm for Salem residents. Each week, instructors will be at three different playgrounds within Salem to offer traditional crafts, games and activities.  Having staff travel to different playgrounds each week allows us to provide this service throughout our community.  Check out our website for special Friday field days and field trips.  Separate registration required for Friday's activities.

Registration is required for this program. See below for dates and playgrounds offered.
Choose your week(s) and choose your playground. 
Sign up for one week or all eight!
Each playground program registration is limited to 25 children.
Registration for playgrounds will close on the Thursday prior to the week.

Please note that most of these parks do not have a restroom, so please have your child use the bathroom before leaving the house. 

 This program is weather permitting.  If we are forced to cancel due to inclement weather, you will be notified by email.

We highly recommend that your child bring a water bottle each day. Snacks are encouraged as well.

We ask parents to apply sunscreen to their child each morning before they leave the house.  If you are sending spray sunscreen with your child, we ask that you put their name of the bottle.  Staff can assist with the spray, but can not apply lotion to your child.
